As everyone reading this is no doubt aware, almost all scleroderma sufferers' have Raynaud's Phenomenon - usually as one of the first symptoms of the condition. Raynaud's is characterised by colour changes typically, blue, white and red, and pain and tingling of the hands and feet on exposure to the cold. Emotion and stress can also trigger attacks, which are caused by vasospasm of the blood vessels. They can be extremely painful and inevitably affect hand function.
