Telangiectasia is another problem for many people and mainly affects those with limited scleroderma, although this isn't always the case (as Kim will testify!). Telangiectasia is the medical term for the small red dots you see on your face or hands. They are caused by dilatation of the small blood vessels in the skin. Other areas that may be involved are the stomach and intestine.
