Make a Donation
The Scleroderma Society greatly appreciates donations. We receive no government funding and they enable us to continue our work supporting people with scleroderma and their families, increasing awareness of scleroderma amongst the medical profession and the general public, and funding medical and scientific research in to the causes, treatments and cures for scleroderma.
Your donations all make a real difference. For example, a donation of £20 will supply a hospital rheumatology department with information leaflets for its scleroderma patients for a whole year.
Donate now online. Our server is secure and you can make a direct donation which we can guarantee you will help people with scleroderma.
- £10 will support our helpline for a day
- £20 will supply a hospital with scleroderma information for a year
- £50 will help support a local group
- £100 will enable us to contact all MP's interested in health to update them on scleroderma
We welcome any donation. Our costs are very low. We currently have no office, one member of staff and are run mainly by volunteers so you can be assured that we are efficient and use our money very carefully to support our services.

Donate by post
If you do not want to donate online you can send us a donation by post. We have a downloadable form to make it easy and it also allows you to sign up for Gift Aid if you are eligible to make your gift go even further. Other ways of giving
Supporting sponsored events or starting your own
Many of our supporters raise money for us through a wide range of activities such as wearing their gloves to work, running 10K's and other events, jumping out of aeroplanes and holding coffee mornings and other sponsored events. When they do this, they often set up a donation page on a site such as JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving. Why not have a look to see if anyone you know is raising money for us - or set up your own online donation site and help support the Scleroderma Society.
Money back from the taxman
Did you know that the value of all donations and sponsorship amounts can be significantly increased if you are a UK taxpayer by making a Gift Aid declaration. As an example, if you are a standard rate taxpayer a £10 donation, with Gift Aid will be worth £12.50 for the Scleroderma Society. As you can imagine, if all of our tax paying donors did this it would make a tremendous difference to us. Download a Gift Aid form.
Make a gift from your mobile telephone
You can donate to us through Vodaphone's JustTextGiving service and as it is supported by Vodaphone all of the money comes directly to us. Text SCLE01 to 70070 plus the amount you would like to give. Could not be more simple but, if you do not pay your own bill, you do have to ask whoever does first.
